ISO Accreditation Maliban's decades of commitment to quality were rewarded when the company was given ISO 9001 : 2000 accreditation as a manufacturing company. Maliban also received The National Quality Award in 1996. This further established Maliban's position as the industry leader in quality. Market and Customer Care We are now becoming a truly global company with distribution in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia. We use only vegetable oil in our production process. As a result all our products are Halal certified. Our dedicated team ensures that every customer request is attended to promptly and efficiently. Capabilities Our 8-acre estate in Colombo is home to 1,200 employees who work round the clock to assure the highest standards in quality. We use the finest manufacturing machinery in the world, including Sasib and APV Baker from the UK. Even our packaging process is imported from SIG of Switzerland and Autowrappers of the UK. We are the largest biscuit manufacturer in Sri Lanka, with a monthly output of 3,000 Mt. Our biscuits are made from the finest imported ingredients. Investment In The Future Highly trained Maliban technologists closely watch over every step of our production process to assure the highest possible quality standards. We constantly carry out consumer tests and market surveys to ensure that our products are customer-oriented. Maliban was the first biscuit maker in Sri Lanka to introduce a biscuit with vitamins.
